Lynn’s practice areas concentrate on matters relating to real estate, including acquisition, sale, development, financing, leasing, construction, like-kind exchanges, title and survey issues, tax planning and formation of entities. Accordingly, Lynn has extensive experience in drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, construction agreements and other documentation typically involved in commercial real estate transactions. His experience also includes general tax, commercial and corporate matters.
Representative transactions include: representation of purchasers in connection with $11 million purchase of ground for mixed use development and subsequent development activities; representation of seller in connection with $10 million sale of office park (§1031 exchange) and subsequent acquisition of $8 million shopping center as the replacement property; and representation of manufacturing company in connection with construction contract for new warehouse/distribution facility (including related $6 million construction loan and permanent loan).
